Lawrence Berkeley National Lab putting VoIP switch to test

Cedar Point Communications says it is conducting a trial of its new Safari C(cubed) Multimedia Switching System (why companies insist on naming themselves and products using raised numbers, I’ll never know) with Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Berkeley, Calif. The lab is scheduled to test the gear on its campus network and work with the vendor to research new VoIP applications, according to Cedar Point.
