Webconferencing growth continues

Despite the downturn in the economy, the Webconferencing sector continues to see growth, as remote workers use the technology for meetings and collaboration. Companies are also saving substantial travel costs by using rich media collaboration rather than having face-to-face meetings with geographically dispersed workforces and customers.

One reason Nilssen and others take such a bright view of Web conferencing is its ability to help IT managers keep costs in check while offering a range of pricing models. But for firms that haven’t tried it, the variety of options can be overwhelming.
