MetaFilter, one of my favorite sites, now has a music service where members can share their own tunes. The site is powered by Andromeda, a PHP-based management system for serving MP3 files over a LAN or the Web. Andromeda may be worth checking out if you have a slew of MP3s on one machine but want to play them on another PC connected to your LAN. Or, if you have the bandwidth, listen to your MP3s stored at home while at work.
