There’s a new video editing tool on the market for the budding Steven Spielberg sitting at home: MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 2004. The $99 application is targeted at the beginner and comes with 1,400 video effects for spicing up your home videos. It even comes with CD and DVD authoring software. If you’ve never tried editing before, I’d first recommend giving one of the free tools (i.e. Microsoft Movie Maker 2) a try first to see if you like it before dropping a photo of Benjamin Franklin on a tool you may have no use for.
