Apple will begin shipping its DVD Studio Pro 2 authoring tool on August 18th. The new release features customizable templates, a menu editor and an improved MPEG-2 encoder. Naturally, the tool is tightly integrated with Final Cut Pro for those that do their own editing. Pricing for DVD Studio Pro starts at $499.
