No, not sex… Sports! (Well, sex probably sells quite a bit too.) The Boston Globe’s Chris Gaither looks at how Major League Baseball and other sports are driving revenues with exclusive online offerings. I for one don’t subscribe to the MLB.com service because I live in the area of my team, though today I wish I had the service so I could hear this afternoon’s Red Sox game from my cube, where AM radio is not an option. But if lived outside the Sox broadcast domain, I would definitely hop on one of these services to keep up with my beloved team.
