Radvision has added support for Microsoft Outlook scheduling to its iView VCS (View Communications Scheduler) product. iView is a Windows 2000-based application used to schedule and manage conferences running on Radvision’s viaIP and Invision conferencing servers. Originally, iView VCS had a Web interface for scheduling conferences, but this new add-on module adds a tab to the Outlook calendar entry page, giving users the ability to invite attendees and reserve virtual conference space in the same interface. Currently, the Outlook calendaring add-on is free to those who have purchased or buy iView VCS before January 1, 2004. Pricing after that date has not yet been set. Pricing for iView VCS starts at $3,750.
