Two friends from college (one of whom works for Network World) got married this weekend in a beautiful ceremony on the beach and I had a dozen or so pictures I wanted to share with a far-flung group of people. E-mail’s a pain (who wants to open a million attachments) and creating a slideshow by hand would have taken too long. Enter snapGallery by Paul Bausch. This free utility made putting my photos, complete with titles and captions, online easy. It creates the index, the forward and backward links, and puts it all together in a single directory. I’d suggest giving it a try if you need a quick way to get a few photos online. All you need is a Windows machine.
