Radvision is hoping to capitalize on the federal and military sectors with its new viaIP gw-S40 gateway, which is designed to encrypt videoconferencing sessions running through the product. The gw-S40 is based on Radvision’s standard viaIP line, but comes with four additional serial connections that can used to connect to encryption devices used by the government. The serial connections can support up to four simultaneous calls, each up to 1.92M bits/sec. Radvision says the new gateway will ship by the end of the month.
