TV commercials coming to AOL IM

AOL announced that it would begin a 60-day trial of embedding television-like ads into its Instant Messenger client. The ads, about 120 by 60 pixels will be displayed in an embedded player from EyeWonder and will begin playing as soon as the ad is loaded. (So hopefully your volume is not cranked up.) According to AOL, customers will only see two ads per day to limit exposure and annoyance.
