New Plus! Digital Media Edition from Microsoft

Microsoft’s got a new version of its Plus! Digital Media Edition (DME) for Windows XP out and it’s full of fun bells and whistles. What I like most is the new Plus! Photo Story 2 feature that makes it a snap to create slide shows complete with narration and music from your digital images. The resulting slide show can even be burned to a Video CD that can be played back in the majority of consumer DVD players. It’s an excellent way to share photos with family and friends that have limited Internet connectivity. Users can save a project too and come back to it later to add more photos and audio. Plus! DME is available for $19.95.
