Macromedia scoops up eHelp

As I was writing yesterday about eHelp’s new RoboDemo 5 and RoboPresenter applications, I completely missed the boat on the news that the company is being scooped up by Macromedia for $65 million. This by Macromedia makes sense to me. RoboDemo and RoboPresenter are basically Flash creation tools. Why not add them to the current stable of Flash creation products?

The move does not change the pending lawsuit against eHelp by competitor Qarbon, according to a note from the latter’s PR staff. But I assume Macromedia will have deeper pockets than eHelp along to fight the suit.
