Windows Media flaw patched in new MS updates

One of the seven new patches released this week by Microsoft fixes a serious flaw in Windows Media Player. Unpatched versions of the player do not properly handle BMP images. An attacker could use this to take control of a machine. Microsoft has deemed this a critical update. Get more information on the patch here.
