Blogger Mrwhosetheboss shares easy-to-follow instructions on YouTube for turning your smartphone into a 3D hologram projector, and his video has snagged nearly 3.5M views since Aug. 1. The hardest part of this arts & crafts project appears to be cutting an old CD case without slashing yourself.
It’s no Microsoft HoloLens, but it’s bound to be cheaper. Of course, as one commenter on the YouTube video says, if you don’t feel like doing this project, you could just wait for the capability to show up in iPhone 9.
