Web performance management Coradiant will add Symphoniq's user application management technology to its portfolio
Coradiant acquires for an undisclosed sum the assets of client-side application performance management vendor Symphoniq.
Coradiant announced Wednesday it had completed the acquisition of the assets of Symphoniq and is now integrating Symphoniq’s technical team into Coradiant’s Web performance management technology business.
Coradiant acquired for an undisclosed sum the assets of Symphoniq and the executive and technical teams have already joined Coradiant. The two vendors both developed products based a common vision of application performance by incorporating the user perspective.

“Coradiant shares the vision that the best approach to Web application performance management is from the end-user perspective,” said Hon Wong, CEO and co-founder of Symphoniq and previously a co-founder at NetIQ, in a statement. “The integration of the two organizations provides an exciting and powerful position to achieve continued leadership in the market, and to continue delivering cutting-edge management capabilities for Web applications.”
Coradiant’s TrueSight appliances monitor Web traffic in real time, helping customers pinpoint performance problems. Symphoniq’s TrueView software monitors application performance from browser to back end to automatically detect, diagnose, and pinpoint problems. Client-side application performance management goes a step beyond managing IT elements for response time and availability and incorporates the actual user experience with the application.

Symphoniq’s Palo Alto offices will serves as Coradiant’s Silicon Valley R&D location.
