Joins business partners and customers on the Big Board
Juniper Networks said it’s leaving NASDAQ for the New York Stock Exchange but it’s just business — nothing personal. NYSE became a big Juniper customer earlier this year.
As part of the divorce settlement with NASDAQ, Juniper is keeping the “JNPR” symbol.
NYSE tapped Juniper in June to provide switches and routers to connect data centers in London and New Jersey for NYSE Euronext. Juniper CEO Kevin Johnson said moving to the Big Board is strategic to the company since many of its business partners and customers are listed there.
Earlier in June, Cisco replaced GM as one of the Dow Industrial’s blue chip stocks.
