The tablet rumor mill is currently running at full throttle, and one of the more interesting rumors to emerge over the past few days comes courtesy of Boy Genius Report which, citing a very connected and reliable source, writes that the impending and all-but-confirmed Apple Tablet will come in a 7-inch model. This is somewhat intriguing because all previous rumors pertaining to the tablet hinted at a 10-inch model. Interestingly, there have also been reports that Apple may very well release 2 versions of a tablet in varying sizes. This, however, doesn’t seem too likely seeing as Apple isn’t entering into an established market as it id with the iPhone back in 2007. That said, it wouldn’t make sense for Apple to hit the market with 2 models of a device when it remains to be seen how the public will react to Apple’s tablet announcement which will presumably take place on January 26th. But as with all things Apple, they’re not ones to stick to convention. Luckily, the wait to finally figure out what this mythical tablet device Apple has reportedly been working on for years will finally come to and in a few more weeks.
