Having done this journalism thing for some time now, it’s not uncommon for me to encounter a name and say, “Hey, I interviewed that guy … but I cannot for the life of me remember why.”
Happened this morning when I received a Twitter notification from cartoonist Daryl Cagle telling me that he has deemed it worth his time to follow my tweets (proving once again that all cartoonists are Looney Tunes). I was sure I had interviewed Cagle previously about something or other, but only through the magic of Google was I able to recover the answer.
Remember Y2K? It had its funny moments, hence my contact with Cagle, which was part of this pre-blog ‘Net Buzz column: “Y2K is a big joke.”
