Here it is January 1, 2009 – a Happy New Year’s to all, and here’s hoping that 2009 will bring an improved economy.
I am happy to report that I received the 2009 Microsoft MVP Award today. All current MVPs must be reawarded on their anniversary date to remain in the program. I’m looking forward to working with my fellow Operations Manager MVPs for another year.
On the book side, System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Unleashed is coming along. Amazon lists the publication date as May 11, 2009. Work is also beginning on a new edition of System Center Operations Manager 2007 Unleashed that will encompass the updates for the R2 release, currently in public beta. Having two books in progress is definitely going to keep me busy!
