A researcher is reporting that IE users were leaving the browser in favor of Firefox, Chrome and Safari last month, as part of a longer market-share slide that stretches back to at least the beginning of 2008. Personally, I find myself using all four these days. I don’t know if my usage is typical, but I use Firefox for my primary browser; I use IE for our content-management system (which apparently just works better with IE than with Firefox); I use Chrome for certain sites that I visit often that work better with the slimmed-down browser; and I use Safari from my iPod Touch. What do you use?
IE lost market share, but think about it…
