Ford and Microsoft update Sync with no-cost, hands-free services

Ford has updated several Microsoft Sync services. Sync now offers directions and traffic information via a hands-free, voice-command application that work in conjunction with a driver’s mobile phone. This is based on an application from Microsoft’s Tellme subsidiary. Because the Tellme voice command app uses a voice call, Ford and Microsoft say that it should not increase your cell phone bill. The application taps into your cell’s GPS to access your location. Check out the video demonstration from CES.
