HP, Cisco join to modernize Quebec Airport, HP to provide ongoing network support

Cisco and HP are fierce competitors in the networking space but here’s an example of the two giants working together on a customer project: the modernization of Quebec City’s Jean Lesage International Airport. Cisco is supplying its networking and wireless gear, in addition to unified communications systems, and HP is serving as end-to-end systems integrator – and more interestingly – will provide ongoing support for the network infrastructure, according to the companies’ joint press release. So how does HP providing support for Cisco gear work, exactly?
