4G gets a push from new Alcatel-Lucent group

Alcatel-Lucent is pulling together an industry group to promote 4G wireless devices, applications and content. Network World’s Brad Reed reports that the ng Connect Program seeks to bring in a variety of companies – not traditional telecom providers – that have innovative products using Long Term Evolution, or LTE.
