There are many naysayers out there. You know the ones I am referring to – the ones who doubt certifications *really* make a difference or worth the time and effort. These are also the same one who probably remember the Paper-MCSE days of NT4 as well. Whatever their gripe might be with certifications – the certifications are not going away, their worth will most likely increase and there will always be some certification deemed more valuable than others.
This is the case with a new list of the 10 Hottest Certifications right now – guess who got 2 of the top ten positions – yep – you guessed it – Microsoft. The list of Top Ten Hottest Certifications came from Baselinemag.com. So what were the certifications and where did they land? At the number 7 position was the MCSD -Microsoft Certified Solution Developer. The other certification, coming in at number 8, is the MCT – Microsoft Certified Trainer. So all you programmers – rejoice! Your coding skills are duly noted. All of you trainers – get back behind your podium and continue on with class.
So of the Top Ten Hottest certifications – Microsoft gets the most votes as no other certification provider had more than one entry – kudos to the Microsoft Certification.
