Agito Networks, which was founded by two former Cisco execs, has hired former Cisco sales exec Jeff Dolce as its vice

president of sales. Agito makes the RoamAnywhere Mobility Router, which the company describes as “fus[ing] 802.11 wireless LANs, enterprise IP telephony, and the carrier cellular network.” The company was established by Chief Technical Officer Tim Olson, who was formerly technical leader in the Cisco Systems Wireless Networking Business Unit, and Vice President of Marketing Pejman Roshan, formerly product line manager at the same Cisco business unit.

According to Realtime Community blogger Ken Camp, “Prior Cisco experience always lends strong credibility to an emerging player like Agito, so I see this as a really positive announcement. Dolce’s background in mobile solutions is a great fit for Agito.”
