HP offers archive system for legal discovery, 09/27/07: Hewlett-Packard Co., which had some well publicized legal troubles of its own not long ago, has unveiled a data back-up system to help other companies when they are hit with a lawsuit or regulatory audit.

IForem storage forever, 09/27/07: A new digital archiving company, iForem, launched at DEMOfall07 this week with a product that lets businesses store critical data without a continuing cost.

Iomega introduces Mac-friendly storage, 09/25/07: At the Apple Expo 2007 in Paris, Iomega introduced new drives aimed squarely at the Mac users. The two new drives complement Iomega’s existing UltraMax Mac drives pre-formatted for the Mac OS’s HFS+ file system. The new models add 500 and 750GB capacities to the line; and, add a quadruple interface–USB 2.0, eSATA, FireWire 400, and FireWire 800.
