Question of the week:
About a year ago, Java.net ran a poll to get to the bottom of what’s wrong with applets. Answers ranged from “too hard to deploy” to “don’t need rich clients.” This week in the JavaWorld developer forums the question has come up again — what is wrong with applets? Might it be that they’re simply obsolete?
