EMC acquires network-configuration player, 10/30/07: The number of pure-play network change and configuration-management vendors decreased again Tuesday as EMC announced it had purchased Voyence for an undisclosed amount.
Vendor claims about storage virtualization flawed, 10/30/07: IT managers have been advised to be wary of vendor hype surrounding storage virtualization as it is a technology that is poorly defined, misunderstood and not widely used, according to Dr. Kevin McIsaac, an advisor at research firm Intelligent Business Research Services (IBRS).
