AT&T launches wireless video service, 06/19/07:  AT&T on Tuesday announced a new service that lets mobile users share video content on their wireless phones while simultaneously having a voice conversation.

Click-to-call with Web 2.0:  At the NXTcomm 2007 show, Microsoft is demonstrating its Connected Services Sandbox that brings Web 2.0 convergence tools to telecom companies.

Convergence & VoIP Newsletter: Nortel pre-packages VoIP and unified communications, 06/18/07:  Nortel announced at the company’s annual enterprise customer conference that is introducing a program that will make unified communications easier for Nortel’s business customers to buy and deploy. The program, called UC 1-2-3, offers “ready-to-use” converged VoIP and data applications and it is designed to streamline the selection, purchasing, and deployment of unified communications products with “pre-engineered, pre-configured packages and enhanced sales tools that simplify the quoting and ordering process,” according to the company’s statement.
