I don’t mean to sound super-critical, but I think a lot of new services have been breathing the Silicon Valley oxygen for too long and need to get out into other parts of the country. How else to explain some new services aimed at getting “friends and family” as their subscriber base? These new companies are relying on tech-savvy individuals to get their friends and family to sign up for either VoIP service or social networking. Good luck.
