IBM ups System z9 mainframe security, 04/20/07
IBM Friday announced enhanced security features for its System z9 Business Class mainframe. The new features include IPSec-based network encryption using IBM’s zIIP crypto engine, as well as host-based public-key encryption based on its CryptoExpress2 hardware module.
Denmark labor issue to air at IBM annual meeting, 04/24/07
An employee of IBM Denmark has traveled to Knoxville, Tenn., to alert executives and shareholders attending the company’s annual meeting Tuesday of a labor issue that he feels is at odds with the corporation’s values and could expose it to legal liability.
