Siemens expands OpenScape line, 05/08/07:  As unified communications moves from the bleeding edge to the mainstream, Siemens Communications is set to expand its OpenScape platform into a line of three products, including a less-expensive one with a focused set of features.

Converged Access consolidates branch-office gear, 05/08/07:  Converged Access this week unveiled managed branch-office hardware designed to reduce the number of devices deployed in remote locations and simplify their installation. Branch Services Gateway (BSG) combines a branch-office router, firewall and VPN gateway with VoIP support and traffic management.
