Microsoft lays out roadmap for interim release of BizTalk, RFID support
Microsoft Tuesday laid out its roadmap for BizTalk Server, including support for RFID technology and integration with Vista and Office, and said the next release of the software will come in the first half of 2007. The company said BizTalk Server 2006 R2 will include RFID support, which is the first time the company has explained how and when it plans to add the technology to its Windows Server System platform. IBM announces $6 billion investment in India
IBM will invest $6 billion in India over the next three years, the company’s Chairman and CEO Samuel Palmisano announced Tuesday in Bangalore, India. The company is encouraged by the opportunity presented by the Indian market as well as the role Indian talent can play in making IBM a global enterprise, Palmisano told an audience of over 10,000 employees.
