Alienware adds MIMO to new notebooks
At least one notebook vendor isn’t worried about whether the 802.11n standard ends up changing or not – Alienware has announced Airgo Networks True MIMO wireless technology on its Aurora m9700 (17-inch, starts at $1,999) and mALX (19-inch, starts at $4,499) mobile systems.
Buffalo expands NAS device line
Buffalo Technology today said it is expanding its LinkStation network-attached storage line of devices with the SMB-targeted LinkStation Pro. The new models will be available in capacities ranging from 250GB up to 750GB.
Vonage launches USB “phone”
Ignore all of that bad news about Vonage for a few minutes. The company today launched its Vonage V-Phone, a portable USB device that lets users make phone calls to anywhere in the world from any PC with high-speed Internet access.
