* Not just another job board If you’re seeking a new IT job or have positions to fill, look no further than Network World’s new IT job search engine powered by Indeed.Instead of just another job board, here you’ll find a search engine for jobs that enables simultaneous search of job listings on thousands of Web sites. These postings come from job boards, newspaper sites and niche sites. Indeed dynamically monitors these so a search will turn up the very latest job openings.Job hunters simply enter terms such as “CIO” or “network administrator” into the type of job or your desired employer, and choose a geographic area. Jobs will be returned that match your keywords and are located within 25 miles of the area you specify. A recent search for network administrators in Atlanta turned up 267 opportunities, for example, of which you can sort by relevance or date. Click on a result, and the search engine takes you directly to the Web site where the job is posted so you can follow up on how to apply. To make sure your job openings get seen by Network World and Indeed readers, use this form to have them included at no charge. The preferred method is to provide an XML feed of your job data. Indeed will then redirect readers to your company’s job site where they can learn more details and apply for the position. So the next time you’re seeking a job or have IT positions to fill, drop by our Careers research center and give the job feature a go.
