What happens when I receive a product that doesn’t work as advertised? Because this is the Cool Tools column, I believe it’s an oxymoron to give out a one-star review. If a product makes the column, it is usually cool enough to be mentioned. But sometimes there are products and companies that are cool in concept but come up short.

Griffin launches PSP FM radio accessories

Griffin Technology, which makes a ton of different iPod accessories, has added some new PlayStation Portable accessories to its stable. The $49.99 iFM Radio Tuner and Remote Control (pictured) lets users listen to FM radio via their PSP, and the $49.99 iTrip for PSP module connects to a PSP and lets users listen to their MP3 files through an FM radio signal.

Sony grows PC/TV display to 20 inches

Longtime readers of the Cool Tools column know that I love any device that converges two or more technologies, so I’m pretty psyched to hear about the new Sony MFM-HT205 20-inch display announced this week, which creates an all-in-one device for PC and TV viewing.
