EMC stresses end-to-end security
EMC is looking to focus on providing end-to-end security for its customers and deliver more management capabilities in its software offerings, according to executives speaking at the company’s analyst day in New York on Thursday. Later that day EMC’s head honcho sat down with IDG News Service’s China Martens. Tucci says that customers are clamoring for the company to do more on the security front and is trying to address those concerns with a mixture of current in-house technologies, partnerships and acquisitions. He doesn’t believe the market is ready for storage virtualization yet.
