Day 19
Applied for five jobs today – four on CareerBuilder, one on Dice. Finally found a way on CareerBuilder to keep track of what I have applied for. You have to go under My CareerBuilder, Saved Jobs, See All Saved Jobs and then click on the Applied column to get it to sort in date order from today and then work back. Not exactly intuitive but at least an option. It would be nice if you could see this from the Job Recommendations page like you can on Dice so you don’t have to go under several sub menus to get to the information.
Got a call from the manager I interviewed with at the engineering company twice in the last two of weeks. One of the people involved in the hiring process is out today. He hopes that they will be in either tomorrow or Wednesday and the decision will be made at that time.
Got phone calls from two recruiters trying to pitch me on out of state positions. Told them thanks but I was staying in the Kansas City area due to a family situation that brought me here. Still amazing that no one appears to be reading my profile that I am only interested in positions in the KC area.
