Had my call with the HR person from US Central Credit Union. The call went for almost 45 minutes. He briefly reviewed the job and the benefits. He asked about my three areas of strength and what I need to improve on professionally. I was asked to go into more detail on highlights from my last three jobs.
The next step will be for the HR person to take his notes to the Hiring Manager. A decision will be made by the middle of next week as to whether I will be brought in for an onsite interview or whether they will pursue someone else. I will be notified by the HR person one way or another.
Got interviewed by a national magazine which had picked up on my situation. In talking with the person who was researching/writing the story, I learned that other people interviewed for the story were running into ther same situation I was up against. It will be interesting to see how the story comes with when it goes to print.
