Day 27
Got an email from Jessica Fardella at Kforce about a position she is working on. Emailed her back and indicated I was interested in the position. Will probably be talking to her later today.
Got a phone call from the CIO at Netsolus. He wanted to see what my availability was over the next couple of days. He wants to go over a 30-question test to see where my skills lie and based on that, probably will have me come back in for a tour of the data center.
Checked all the job boards – nothing new as of this morning. Will check again later.
Got a call from Jessica Fardella at Kforce. She is checking with the client to see if they are willing to raise their salary range to get someone of my experience level. She will get back to me once she has heard from them.
In checking Craigslist for job possibilities, I noticed a new recruiting firm I hadn’t come across before. I sent them my resume to see what they might have available. They responded that they didnt have anything in my area and suggested two other recruiting companies, one of which I am already working with.
Receive email confirmation on my interview this coming Wednesday with the HR Central Credit Union that had talked to me last week. They sent a few forms for me to fill out and bring to the interview. I received the schedule in the email. I will be there all afternoon, so it looks like they are trying to get everything done while I am there. Will see how this one turns out.
