Day 41
Got a couple of emails from President of the company I had worked for in Kentucky. We are discussing associating my Microsoft certification with them, which would also mean that I need to take an additional exam for them to be able to use my certification as well as my being able to support/implement some of the MS products they are looking to support.
We are also talking about pursuing some Cisco opportunities. Except for the implementation part, I should be able to most of what is needed remotely. Need to go over what is in the emails several times and then decide how to respond to the questions I received.
Saw two new jobs on Craigstlist. Applied for both. One of the positions was with a recruiting firm, Paige Tech LLC, that I had already been working with. A different recruiter responded noting that I was already working with someone there and they would have that recruiter respond to me.
I asked if they could tell me the company involved so I could stop things if I had already been submitted elsewhere. The recruiter said that my assigned recruiter would have to tell me. It took longer for that recruiter to tell me that someone else would have to tell me when, since it was apparent that I was already working with them, that they could have typed far less words in the message and gave me the information I asked for.
