Day 40
Got an email from Justin Stancil with Modis that they had started checking my references in preparation for talking to the client. Had one of the references call me to let me know someone was checking up on me.
Should hear something as soon as tomorrow about the US Central position I interviewed for several weeks ago.
Nothing new on any of the job boards.
I have been exchanging emails with the folks at Nerds on Site. Apparently an email from them got lost, asking me to submit a business plan on starting up a Nerds on Site operation in Kansas City.
I have to look at the licensing fee and when I can pay that back. Being unemployed at this point, paying the license fee all at one time would pretty much use up most of my available savings. Have to think about how to handle that as well as starting an operation up like this from scratch.
One of the things they want me to do is to project anticipated revenue. Don’t have any idea of how to project what I don’t have any idea of how to quantify at this point. Will probably have to have another discussion with them about this.
