Cisco is expected to report earnings of 34 cents on revenue of $9.76 billion, compared with 30 cents a share on revenue of $8.9 billion for the year-

earlier period. The company reports on May 6. Analysts say that the sluggish economy has meant weak sales to enterprises in the U.S. but that this is expected to be offset by growth in Asia and perhaps even growth in sales to service providers. So reports the Wall Street Journal’s MarketWatch blog.
