Day 55
Left a message for Lance at Teksystems. He had called me last week about the pharmaceutical company that had expressed interest in me.
Hadn’t heard back from him as to scheduling an interview. Would like to see if this one is still active or not.
Emailed Kevin at Technisource about the position at DST. They had inquired about my availability several weeks ago, but nothing further. Kevin responded that he had been continuing to keep in contact with DST, but hadn’t received any feedback or reply to the inquiries. From the local job boards and the company’s own Website, they are hiring for several positions. Curious as to the lack of response.
Got called by Michelle at Advantage Technical. Talked to me about the position at Interstate Brands. Advised her that I had already been submitted and had interviewed for the position. They had no further openings at this time.
Had a series of phone calls with Kelly Webb at MidWest Consulting that I had the meet and greet session with on Friday. The account manager for the position they are pitched me for has pushed back because of the salary I am looking for. Even though the recruiter and I had agreed on the salary range and how to present me. She was going back to the account manager to and would get back with me. She called later in the day and I returned her call. Probably won’t hear back from her until tomorrow at this point.
Had a meet and greet with Grant Gordon at Intronix Solutions Group. We reviewed the job and benefits information that he had on the position.
He liked what he saw and was going to send my information over to the client. He called later in the day to say the customer wanted to move ahead with a phone interview. He forwarded an email from the client expressing concern over several points in my resume. Will see how that one works out.
