Shopping for CCIE Labs for VoIP and maybe Security.

CCIE Training Materials are sometimes hard to choose from even for a guy like me. I’m me. So as you can imagine, I’ve been there, done that, and pretty much seen the world by now in terms of Cisco CCIE Prep Materials. Some people offer me free samples, other classes, some want me to either write or review questions for exams and maybe a scenrio here and there; and I even get sent lots of materials to review from some of the esteemed vendors that I hold in high regard. Well, I’m not yet a CCIE RS yet and since I start a new job on Monday, there is very little chance I’ll make it to any lab for the next three months or so at least for Routing and Switching. So the boyscout in me say… let’s check and see what is and what is not available from the vendors this year, particularly for VoIP and maybe also for Security. The first product that tempts my palette is IPExpert’s CCIE-in-a-Box. http://www.ipexpert.com/index.cfm/product/sku/CCIE_Voice_Lab_Workbook_Preparation_Proctor_Guide I need to look this one over. It sounds shiny and new and chocked full of good stuff for the CCIE Voice. I alreay sent a volley of questions to my favorite sales rep but is Saturday so I am unlikely to get a reply on the weekend just yet. But I am patient. Not that I to be with IPExpert, they always have one of the best if not the very best customent support staff who are extremely responsive.
