In a report yesterday, Netcraft revealed that parts of Microsoft.com was running on Windows Server 2008.
Was that a surprise to me?
No.
Listen, Microsoft is used to dogfooding, and to all, it signals faith in your product if you would run the second most heavily-trafficked site on Terra on a beta of an operating system!
Can we all give some respect to Bill Laing and the entire Windows Server 2008 crew at Microsoft?

Windows Server 2008 is currently available in a June 2008 CTP beta, and can be downloaded from www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008
