Consultancy puts Cisco UC integration with Microsoft to the test

Evangelyze Communications, a professional services company that specializes in Microsoft UC products is putting Cisco’s CUCM 7.0’s integration with Microsoft OCS through its paces. Founder and and Executive Director Joe Schurman explains in his blog that Evangelyze aims to “determine if the new CUCM 7.0 release from Cisco really provides direct integration to OCS as Nortel’s CS1000 UC/Telephony solution.” In his blog titled ‘Cisco CUCM 7.0 vs. Nortel CS1000 – What’s marketing and what’s reality?’, Schurman says the company will test Nortel CS1000 UC/Telephony environment with Cisco’s latest UC platform. The results will be presented in a whitepaper and webcast, writes Schurman.
