Cisco is left without a new General Services Administration contract as talks between GSA and the vendor broke down over pricing and other GSA requirements, according to a report in Washington Technology. The news site reports Cisco’s contract was scheduled to expire Thursday and that Cisco, the letter-of-supply holder immixGroup and GSA failed to agree on terms. The report says that that negotiations are continuing and cites a Cisco statement as saying that Cisco’s products remain available to federal customers through “numerous other suppliers.”
According to Washington Technology, the agency had similiar contract negotiation issues with Sun, Canon, and EMC.
