Cisco is getting into the holiday spirit. It’s throwing a Halloween party in Second Life on Oct. 31, and has launched a ‘heaven or hell’ video contest with $10,000 up for grabs (OK, that second event isn’t to do with Halloween but you get my drift).
The video contest is part of Cisco’s Digital Cribs series, in which celebs show off their favorite gadgets. Contestants submit a 3 minute video showing either Digital Heaven: a “home network […] full of interesting and unique uses of consumer technology.” or Digital Hell: “Your devices do not connect or communicate with ease, wires are flying all over the place, and the media are not easily shared across the home network.” Hmmm, which of the two categories shall we enter?
Cisco’s Halloween party will be held between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Cisco Live in Second Life. Cisco says it will have free costumes, games, prizes and virtual candy.
