Corporate perks are alive and well for some Cisco employees. Cisco Silicon Valley workers and their families Monday celebrated the opening of the company’s $38 million health and wellness center dubbed “LifeConnection Health Center”. Cisco’s Bay Area workers will be able to drop off their kids at the 112,000 square foot facility, work out in the 48,000 square foot fitness center, and visit onsite pharmacists and physicians, offering accupuncture as well as traditional medicine. The medical center features electronic check-in and medical records are projected on a large screen for patient viewing, according to an ABC Local news report.
However, it’s not all free. According to ValleyWag, employees will have to pay $20 a month for the use of the fitness center, which replaced the free campus gyms.
